To operate the SISTO-C diaphragm valves, we provide manually operated actuators as well as double- and single-acting pneumatic actuators.
A change from manual actuator to pneumatic actuator – or vice versa – can easily be accomplished at any time. No nuts are required to attach the actuator to the valve body. The bolts are inserted directly into the valve body, an aspect which simplifies assembly considerably.
The actuator housing and valve bonnets are made of one part and are weight-optimized. The reduced overall height ensures a significant reduction in space requirements, especially when using multiport valves.
For the MD168 and MD202 sizes, a weight-reduced aluminium version is also available as an alternative to the stainless steel version.
The SISTO-CSPV is a manual removal valve equipped with a pneumatic actuator as an additional safety component to prevent unsafe or unwanted sampling.
The handwheel can only be operated when the pneumatic actuator is supplied with compressed air.
If the compressed air in the actuator fails, the valve closes and the handwheel as well as the point of use are locked so that no unwanted sample can be taken.
The replacement of older actuators with a new version is possible without any problems. You can easily find out which new actuator fits your valve with the help of our tool.
